Sarah Perlin

Master of Public Health (MPH) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) / Licensed Dietitian (LD)

Hello! My name is Sarah. I was originally drawn to the field of dietetics because I hope to support others in meeting their personal health goals. Food is a significant part of everyone’s life, yet navigating the world of nutrition research can be overwhelming and sometimes emotional. I’m here to serve as a resource for you in the midst of our busy world.

I practice from a weight-neutral approach, meaning I focus primarily on markers of health and wellbeing rather than solely the number on the scale. I view clients as the true experts of their own health, while I strive to provide support as an active partner and source of evidence-based nutrition information. I meet people where they are at along their health journey and collaborate in an open, non-judgmental space. I will show you respect, patience, and express curiosity as we go along.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, where I also obtained a degree in music. I then completed a Master’s in Public Health and dietetics training at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

Throughout my career thus far I have worked with individuals, couples, and families from a variety of backgrounds. I’ve partnered with folks managing high blood pressure, high cholesterol, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), autoimmune conditions including thyroid diseases, gestational diabetes and blood sugar management, disordered eating patterns, and more. I have a passion for working with pregnant and breast/chestfeeding people and new parents, as well as families with concerns about their selective little eaters. I’m also happy to speak with people about general health and wellbeing too.

I’d be honored to connect with you about food and nutrition. Whatever goals you are working towards, I hope to help you learn, build confidence, and feel your best.
